After a successful Phase 1, the New England Regional Defense Industry Collaboration (NERDIC) received a grant from the Office of Local Defense Community Collaboration (OLDCC). Phase 2 commenced in 2023 and will conclude in June 2025.
Phase 1 of NERDIC achieved considerable gains in constructing NERDIC’s framework, identifying core objectives, expanding industry networks and establishing a unified approach to solve the issues facing the defense industry in the six state New England region.
Phase 2 of NERDIC is expanding on the work conducted in Phase 1 and is focusing on an wider ecosystem approach with emphasis on Industry 4.0 Defense Sector Modernization, Workforce and Ecosystem Development across the six states.
