SEIZING THE MOMENT: Securing the Future for New England Defense
The NERDIC Network came together on Tuesday, June 17 at UNH Manchester in New Hampshire. The nearly 70 attendees discussed defense and manufacturing changes, workforce updates and the event launched the NERDIC Industry 4.0 program! We also heard from a New Hampshire Resource Panel. The theme of the meeting was, ‘SEIZING THE MOMENT: Securing the Future for New England Defense.

From I-293 going through downtown Manchester, take Exit 5 to Granite Street, then turn left on Commercial Street; UNH Manchester is the first building on the left. For parking, visitors can use the general parking lot in the back of the building as well as the parking garage next to UNH Manchester. More information can be found at UNH Manchester’s website.
Hotels near to the venue (each about a 10 minute walk):
- DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown – 700 Elm Street. There is a parking garage on-site.
- Hilton Garden Inn Manchester Downtown – 101 South Commercial Street. They have parking, and the hotel looks out onto the minor league ballpark.
- Residence Inn Manchester by Marriott – 40 Lake Avenue. Across Elm Street from the DoubleTree.
- Tru by Hilton Manchester ($152/night) – 135 Spring Street. Pass historic mill buildings down Commercial Street on the walk to the venue.
